Magalie Van Tesch — Joaillerie

The Story

Magalie Van Tesch is a goldsmith and jewellery maker based in Belgium. Trained in traditional metalworking, she creates each piece entirely by hand — melting silver and gold, shaping raw material into wearable objects of quiet beauty. We were invited into her atelier to document a full day of work, from the first sketch to the finished piece.

The Making

We wanted the film to feel as intimate as the craft itself. Shooting with available light, close to the hands and the tools, letting the material — the glow of molten metal, the dust of polishing — carry the visual language. No narration, no music with lyrics. Just the sound of work and a score that breathes alongside it.
